Do you love to sing? Would you like to become part of a prayerful, dedicated, and fun-loving group of people from all walks of life who share their faith through music? The St. Agnes Senior choir may be the perfect ministry for you to join.
The ability to read music is not a prerequisite to join the choir. Regular, consistent attendance, an open mind, and team spirit are all that is required. Books and music are provided.
The choir also presents fundraising concerts, hosts workshops and concerts with out-of-town clinicians/composers, and partners with other community groups in a variety of performance settings.
The Senior Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. from September to the end of May and sings at the 11 a.m. Family Mass. The best times to consider joining the group are September and January. An audition is not necessary, but a short trial period is essential to confirm that you and your voice are a good "fit" for the group.
