Baptism is the sacrament of faith is the offer of salvation for all people. It is through this sacrament that we receive the Holy Spirit and become members of the People of God, of the Body of Christ which is the Church. Baptism becomes our commitment to grow in this new life and to strive to acquire spiritual maturity. Intimately linked to Confirmation and to Eucharist, Baptism is, with these two sacraments, Christian Initiation. The child is baptized in the faith of his/her parents, of his/her godparents and of the Church.
In order to guide you in this important step, we offer an orientation session for parents and godparents, as well as a Baptism Information Package.
Due to gathering limitations imposed by COVID-19 regulations, our baptisms are temporarily not being held during regular worship services. They are now scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. in the church. Each baptism ceremony is 30 minutes in length.
If you would like to schedule a baptism or require more information please contact the Parish Office at (807)-475-7489 or email email@example.com
